Post 17 to host tryouts on Wednesday

The James Leroy Belk Post 17 Kershaw County Senior and Junior American Legion baseball teams will both begin tryouts for the 2013 summer season on Wednesday, May 8 at 6 p.m. at American Legion Park in Camden.
The senior team is open to players age 19 and under while the junior squad is open to players ages 17 and under. There is no minimum age for trying out.
Former Camden High, Post 17 and Coastal Carolina University player Craig Smith begins his second season as head coach of the senior team which begins play the week of May 27.
All players wishing to try out for either team should be prepared to begin practice at 6 p.m.
