The Camden High School Athletic Banquet will be held on Tuesday, May 21, in the school gymnasium.
The annual banquet, sponsored each year by the Camden Bulldog Club, recognizes the dedication of Camden High’s student athletes and coaches. Awards are presented to teams and individuals who have achieved athletic and academic excellence and displayed good sportsmanship.
The featured speaker for this year’s banquet will be Crystal Johnson, a 2003 graduate of Camden High, who was a volleyball and basketball standout for the Lady Bulldogs during her high school career.
Johnson played volleyball for and graduated from the University of South Carolina and is currently enrolled at the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston.
A catered meal will begin at 6:30 p.m. Tickets to the banquet, priced at $10 each, will be sold only in advance. Tickets may be purchased in the Camden High School Library. Advance tickets sales end on Thursday, May 16.
Several levels of Camden Bulldog Club membership include complimentary tickets to the banquet. Those are: Corporate Platinum and Corporate Gold (four tickets); Corporate (three); Black and Gold (two) and Bulldog Backer (one). Bulldog Pride members must purchase their tickets.
Persons wishing to purchase tickets or members wishing to reserve their complimentary tickets should call CHS at 425-8937 by the end of school on Thursday, May 16.
Complimentary tickets may be picked up in the lobby of the gym on the night of the banquet or picked up in the Camden High library by the end of the school day on Tuesday, May 21.
