Graveside services to celebrate the life of Robert "Bob" A. Carswell, 85, of Camden, will be held at 3:00 PM, Tuesday, May 14, 2013 in Quaker Cemetery. Rev. John Hallman will officiate. Memorials may be made in his memory to Associated Charities of Kershaw County, 163 Chestnut Street, Camden, SC 29020.

Robert Alexander Carswell died May 8, 2013. He was born in Morganton, NC, the son of the late Henry and Isabell MacRae Carswell. Mr. Carswell was a graduate of Catawba College and was a retired CPA and senior partner of Carswell, Cantey and Associates. He was a member of Bethesda Presbyterian Church, a longtime member of the Quaker Cemetery Association Board and the Associated Charities Board of Kershaw County.

Surviving are his stepsons, Kirby S. Tupper III (Margaret W.) and Samuel W. Tupper (Marla) both of Camden; grandchildren, Sam, Kathryn and Jonathan (Anna) Tupper; great-grandchildren, Ashe Tupper and Juli Tupper; brothers, Roy James Carswell and John Henry Carswell; sister, Sandra Carswell Calloway.

Besides his wife and parents, he was predeceased by his sister, Mary Carswell Gouge.

Kornegay Funeral Home, Camden Chapel, is in charge of the arrangements.
