Mrs. Josephine G. Warner, age 90, of Lugoff, SC, (formerly of Clarksburg,WV) passed away Saturday, May 11, 2013 at Myrtle Beach Manor in Myrtle Beach, SC, following an extended illness. She was born in Philippi, WV, August 14, 1922, a daughter of the late Herbert Edward Golden and Grayce Booth Golden.

Her husband, Loyle Junior Warner, preceded her in death June 3, 1995.

Surviving are: a son, Larry J. Warner, Oklahoma City, OK; a daughter & son-in-law, Linda W. & David Kulina, Little River, SC; a sister, Maxine Perkins, Parkersburg, WV; three grandchildren, Alan & Michael Kulina, both of Morgantown, WV, and Alexis Warner, Oklahoma City, OK, a niece and several cousins.

Mrs. Warner was also preceded in death by two infant brothers.

Mrs. Warner by faith had been a member of the Church of Christ. She was an avid gardener and especially loved working with her flowers. She also loved composing poetry. She had been employed as a secretary for Hope Gas Company, Clarksburg, WV, before her retirement.

Friends may call at the Davis-Weaver Funeral Home, 329 East Main Street, Clarksburg from 2:00 – 8:00 P. M. on Thursday, where a funeral service will be held on Friday, May 17, 2013 at 11:00 A. M. with Minister Ryan Currey presiding. Interment in Floral Hills Memorial Gardens.
