Funeral services celebrating the life of Esther Rabon Faulk, 80, of Camden, SC will be held at 11:30 AM, on Tuesday, June 4, 2013 at Kornegay Funeral Home, Camden Chapel. Rev. Brian Ogburn will officiate. Burial will follow in Fort Jackson National Cemetery, Columbia, SC. The family will receive friends from 6:00 -7:30 PM on Monday, June 3, 2013 at Kornegay Funeral Home, Camden Chapel. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Mrs. Faulk’s memory to Kershaw Health Hospice, 124 Battleship Road, Camden, SC 29020 or the Springvale Baptist Church Cemetery Fund, P.O. Box 880, Lugoff, SC 29078.

Esther Rabon Faulk, wife of James Oliver Faulk, passed away at home surrounded by family and friends. She was the daughter of the late Burtis and Evelyn Bramham Rabon. Esther was a member of the First Baptist Church, Camden, SC, where she also worked in the Day Care Center until her retirement.

Mrs. Faulk is survived by her husband of 59 years; sister, Myrtle Geddings (Gerald) and Frances Ryan; and daughter-in-law, Anne Blake.

Besides her mother and father, Mrs. Faulk was predeceased by an infant daughter, Donna Faulk and her adult son, Ronnie Faulk; brothers, Thurman, Lonnie, Alfred, Clyde and Murray Rabon.

A special thanks to an outstanding caregiver and friend, Mrs. Barbara Cassady and to nurse, Donna Newman, Kershaw Health Home Health, and nurse, James Rabb, Kershaw Health Hospice.
