A light agenda for Tuesday’s Kershaw County Council meeting will feature a public hearing on budget appropriations for the county’s 2014 fiscal year. Council held the second reading of the budget at its May 31 meeting, but did not have third and final reading set for Tuesday evening.

Council will, however, consider third and final reading of an ordinance to amend the county’s official zoning map designation for Tax Parcel #307-00-00-007 for Jacquelyn Joyner Pittman from RD-2 to R-15 and provide an effective date.

Council will also consider second reading of an ordinance amending the Unified Code of Zoning and Land Development Regulations regarding permitted and conditional uses and off street parking. In new business, council will discuss a mutual aid agreement between the Kershaw County Sherriff’s Office and Richland County.

Council will also enter executive session to discuss an undisclosed personnel matter.

Tuesday’s meeting will begin at 5:30 p.m. in the Kershaw County Government Center, 515 Walnut St., and is open to the public.
