Georgia White Nyhart

Georgia White Nyhart of Camden, SC died June 25, 2013 at the age of 84 at the Kershaw County Medical Center. Born November 3, 1928, Ms. Nyhart was the daughter of Malott Volney White and Georgia Reay White. Originally from Indianapolis, Indiana, she moved to Camden from Hilton Head Island 13 years ago.

Mrs. Nyhart attended Tudor Hall School for Girls in Indianapolis and was a graduate of Pine Manor College in Chestnut Hill, Mass. She was champion equestrian, pilot, gourmet cook, gardener, avid reader, animal lover and actively involved in community activities and clubs. She was a member of the Bethesda Presbyterian Church and Springdale Hall Club.

She is survived by her beloved Golden Retriever, Tag-a-Long, and her loving children: Maria Dahlman of Short Hills, NJ; Malott Nyhart of Cincinnati, OH; Patrick Kinney of Woodbury, CT; and Edward Kinney of Windermere, FL. She is also survived by her 10 grandchildren and one great granddaughter. She loved her family and friends dearly and will be missed by countless people and animals, whose lives she touched.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in her memory to: Golden Retriever Rescue of the Midlands at http://midlandsgoldenrescue.org/ or the Kershaw County Humane Society located at 460 Fair Street in Camden, SC 29020. A Memorial service will take place at a later date in Camden, SC.
