The highest honor

Bill Heil (center), adjutant for Lugoff American Legion Post 195, recently received the highest award given by the American Legion. The service award was given to Heil for his work with the veterans of our state. This award is usually given to public officials, and persons in the political arena. The award was presented at the American Legion State Convention in Greenville in June.
