The Marching Knights placed seventh at the S.C. Band Directors Association’s 1A State Championship at Batesburg-Leesville High School. This was the first time in eight years North Central has been represented at the state level and this was the highest placement in the school's known history. The North Central Marching Knights were the only marching band to represent the Kershaw County School District at the state level this year.
