Irene Mildred Hahn

Irene Mildred Hahn, 97, of Kershaw, SC, passed away peacefully at her home on Thursday, August, 22, 2013. Born on March 14, 1916 in Howells, NE, Colfax Co., she was the daughter of the late Martin and Henrika Anderson.

Irene was retired from the Chrysler Corporation, and was a "Rosie the Riviter "during WWII. She enjoyed horse racing, carriage driving and crocheting.

Irene is survived by her sister, Ellen Monic, 99, of Grand Island, NE; three daughters; Pamela Julian, Rebecca Hintzmann (Paul) and Rose Blohm (Mike Rahaim); grandchildren; Heather Hosford, Lorelei Gasiorowski, Donovan Ennis, Christian Yanchula and Thomas Manney; great-grandchildren, Annalise, Hannah Hosford; nephew, David Baily (Joann) and many friends.

Services for Mrs. Hahn will be held at a later date. Memorials may be made in Mrs. Hahn’s memory to the Walter M. Crowe Animal Shelter, 460 S Fair Street, Camden, SC 29020.
