A funeral service to celebrate the life of Faye Miles "Missy" Massebeau, 67, of Camden, SC, will be held at 2:00 PM on Thursday, August 29, 2013 at Cornerstone Baptist Church in Camden. Rev. Russ McDonald and Rev. Jimmy Holley will officiate. Burial will follow in Quaker Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00-7:30 PM, Wednesday, August 28, 2013 at Kornegay Funeral Home, Camden Chapel. Memorials may be made in her memory to the Walter M. Crowe Animal Shelter, 460 S. Fair Street, Camden, SC 29020.

Faye Miles "Missy" Massebeau, wife of Tom Massebeau, died Sunday, August 25, 2013. She was born in Darlington, SC, the daughter of the late Henry Miles and Becky McKenzie Miles Hornsby. She was a member of Cornerstone Baptist Church and for many years she served as pianist for DeKalb Baptist and Cornerstone Baptist Church. Missy was best known by her family and friends for baking the best Southern homemade biscuits around.

Besides her husband, she is survived by her sons, Alan Massebeau of Camden, SC, Tommy and Pat Massebeau, Jr. of Ormond Beach, FL, Phil and Kirsten Massebeau of Cannon Beach, OR; daughter, Jennifer Etters of the US Army in Italy; grandchildren, Mike and Lori Massebeau, Tara and Mike Sanders, Chris and Gena Massebeau; great-grandchildren, Austin, Tessa, Sophia and Lila Massebeau, Micah, Mason and Addison Sanders; sister, Kathy and Donny Johnson of Aiken, SC; and brother David Dixon of Abilene, TX.

Missy was a beloved wife, mom, sister and friend. She will be dearly missed by all of her family.

Besides her parents, Mrs. Massebeau was predeceased by her two sisters, Dot Johnson and Betty Mae Diddle.

Kornegay Funeral Home, Camden Chapel, is in charge of the arrangements.
