Golf tourney benefits Toys for Tots campaign

The Kershaw County Leathernecks Marine Corps Detachment 1146 is sponsoring a charity golf tournament to be played at the White Pines Golf Course in Camden on Saturday. Sept. 21.
The 4-player captain’s choice event will tee off at 8 a.m. The cost is $50 per player and $200 per team.
All proceeds from the event will sent to the Marine Corps Reserve Toys for Tots Foundation to purchase toys for disadvantaged children throughout Kershaw County.
There will be awards for first, fourth and eighth place finishers. There will also be long drive contests, on designated holes, and closest to the pin contests, also on designated holes. In addition, golfers may purchase a ticket for a chance to win a golf cart or and ATV on a designated hole. Mulligans will also be available for $5 each.
