Race participant dies from medical condition

A participant in the Carolina Motorsports park LeMons race died from a heart related medical condition on Saturday afternoon.

Sydney Brayton, a 63-year-old man from Georgia, was driving his race vehicle when he ran off of the track.

An investigation determined that he died from a pre-existing medical condition. All safety equipement was working at the time of the incident.
