A funeral service to honor the life of C. Ronnie Morris, Sr., 78, of Camden, SC, will be held at 11:00 AM, Tuesday, October 1, 2013 at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Camden. Bishop John Luthy will officiate. Burial will follow in Mt. Olivet Baptist Church Cemetery in Camden. The family will receive friends from 6:00-7:30 PM, Monday, September 30, 2013 at Kornegay Funeral Home, Camden Chapel. Memorials may be made in his memory to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, Camden Ward, 1700 Chestnut Ferry Road, Camden, SC 29020 or the Project Hope Foundation, PMB 358, Suite 2100, 2131 Woodruff Road, Greenville, SC 29607.

C. Ronnie Morris, the husband of Lowrance Dabney Morris, died Friday, September 27, 2013. Born in Camden, SC, he was the son of the late Bayron James and Annette Hasty Morris. He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. Mr. Morris was retired from DuPont after 30 years of service and spent 9 years as a Bailiff at the Kershaw County Courthouse. He was a retired Staff Sergeant with the United States Air Force and served in Korea.

Besides of his wife of 56 years, Mr. Morris is survived by his daughter, Rhonda Morris Wilson (Jeff) of Camden; son, Chet Morris (Ann) of Woodruff, SC; grandson, Josh Wilson; granddaughters, Ashli Wilson, Stacey Morris, Gracie Morris; brother, Johnny Morris (Meredith) of Camden; sister, Patty Elliott of Camden; and 18 nieces and nephews.

Mr. Morris was predeceased by his mother and father.

Kornegay Funeral Home, Camden Chapel, is in charge of the arrangements.
