Funeral services celebrating the life of Inez Parker Rush, 91, of Camden will be held on Friday, October 4, 2013, at 2:00 PM, at First Baptist Church of Camden with burial to follow in Forest Lawn Memorial Park. Rev. Bruce Hancock will officiate. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service in the Church Fellowship Center, beginning at 1:00 PM. Memorials may be made to First Baptist Church, 1201 Broad Street, Camden, SC 29020.

Mrs. Rush, widow of James Ervin "Jerry" Rush, was born in Fairfield County, the daughter of the late Pearl Baker Parker and Jessie Washington Parker. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Camden, was a retired bookkeeper for Redfearn Motor Co. and served as an associate Probate Judge for Kershaw County. Inez enjoyed bowling and played on a league for many years.

Mrs. Rush is survived by daughters, Beverly Rush Crosby (Scott) of Hickory, NC, and Jan Rush Sowell (Boykin) of Lugoff, SC; grandchildren Heather Crosby Sigmon (Jerry), James Crosby, Boyd Sowell, Matt Sowell, Timothy Webb (Rachel), and Jeri Webb; great- grandchildren Andrew and Alex McCaskill, and Haley and Anna Sigmon. She was predeceased by Lavada Watson, J W Parker, Ernest Parker, Doris Ensign, and Delma Parker.
