In the junior varsity contest, the Lady Demons took all three sets from Camden.
On Tuesday, Jessica Mullins’ troops swept its season series with conference rival Blythewood, winning in five sets, 20-25, 25-23, 24-26, 25-21 and 15-11.
The victory gave the Lady Demons (23-5-4) an 8-0 league record and, for all intents and purposes, the conference title. Blythewood fell to 6-2 in region play.
In the junior varsity match, the Lady Demons topped the Bengals, 26-24 and 25-22, to remain unbeaten in conference play.
Following a Thursday match at Spring Valley, L-E will close out the regular season next Tuesday night when Irmo comes into the Demons Den for Senior Night. The evening begins with the junior varsity match at 5:30 p.m. with the varsity pairing to follow.
