The Camden Garden Club will hold its next meeting on Monday at the home of Donna Freyer. Normally there is a speaker along with a program for members, but this month will be a special hands-on program on making and designing arrangements.

Randomly selected club members will be asked to arrive early. With the flowers and greenery provided, they will create and design spectacular arrangements for judging. A group discussion will follow, detailing the design strengths and, if any, its weaknesses.

Along with these creations, members are encouraged to bring in specimens from their own gardens, and make arrangements to be judged for the year-end awards.

This month, the suggested theme is "Bold and Beautiful" and members are to use a cornucopia of fall flowers, vegetables and fruit.

The jusges this month are Chairman Elizabeth Fort, Shirley Kiger, Marti Wallace and Sarah Kimbal.

After the judging and discussion, members will enjoy a bountiful spread coordinated by Chairman Judy Martin, Amy Cantey and Brenda Sullivan.
