The King Haiglar Garden Club will meet on Monday at 3:30 p.m. Jan Tilford will host the group at 1709 Mill St., in Camden. Virginia Isler and Sherry Sweet-Miller will co-host. There will be a social time with refreshments for all to enjoy.

An educational program, "Planting a Dementia Garden," will be presented by Master Gardener Julie Trott. The arrangement theme for November is "Fall, Flora and Fruits." Members are encouraged to display an arrangement or to bring horticulture specimens from their gardens for judging.

November judges are Sweet-Miller, Jane Hannon, Nancy Carlson and Grace Young. Garden maintenance volunteers for November are Alice Brice and Mary Acken.

November garden tips include:

• Use up gasoline from all gasoline-powered equipment and disconnect spark plugs.

• Fall is a good time to plant trees and shrubs. Water trees and shrubs frequently as needed.

• Keep leaves and pine needles raked off of grass.

The flower of the month is the Chrysanthemum and the vegetable of the month is collards.
