Mothers Against Drunk Driving (MADD) volunteers will be holding a Tie One On For Safety event at the Lugoff Fire Department, 892 Highway 1 South, Lugoff on Tuesday beginning at 10 a.m.

MADD has invited local law enforcement agencies, first responders, victims, survivors, friends and concerned citizens to join the event.

Tie One On For Safety is one of MADD’s longest running safety campaign and will begin on Thanksgiving Day and will last through New Years Day.

Community members are asked to keep the roads safer for the holidays so that families do not have to suffer from a choice someone made to drive impaired, by helping to spread the word to always use designated drivers.
