Dec. 20 to be half day for KCSD students

The Kershaw County School District will have a half day for students on Dec. 20, the last day of student attendance before the holiday break. Staff will work a regular schedule. Students in 3- and 4-year-old developmentally delayed and
4-year-old kindergarten classes will not attend school at all that day.

School breakfasts and lunches will be served to students. The hours of operation for afterschool programs will vary from
school to school. Please check with your child’s school if you need further information.

Dismissal times Dec. 20 will vary from school to school due to bus routing. Dismissal times for individual schools are as follows:

• 11 a.m. -- ATEC, Baron DeKalb Elementary, Bethune Elementary, Blaney Elementary, Camden Elementary, Continuous Learning Center (North Central area students), Doby’s Mill Elementary, Jackson Elementary, Lugoff Elementary, Midway Elementary, Mt. Pisgah Elementary, Pine Tree Elementary, Wateree Elementary

• 11:15 a.m. -- Camden Middle School, Continuous Learning Center (Lugoff area students), Leslie Stover Middle, Lugoff-Elgin Middle, North Central Middle

• 11:20 a.m. -- Camden High School

• 11:30 a.m. -- Continuous Learning Center (Camden area students), Lugoff-Elgin High, North Central High

Students and employees return to school Monday, January 6.
