King Haiglar Garden Club Christmas tea today

The King Haiglar Garden Club will celebrate holiday season with their annual Christmas tea and ornament exchange.

The tea will be held today at 3:30 p.m. Grace Young will host the gathering at 512 Greene St., in Camden. Carolyn Brown, Mary Nelle Gore and Julie Trott will co-host.

There will be no arrangement or horticulture judging. Members are reminded to bring a gift-wrapped ornament to exchange with other members and guests.

Garden maintenance for the month will be done by Carol Meckstroth and Sherry Sweet-Miller.

Essential Southern plants include:

• Hydrangea,

• Camellia,

• Crepe Myrtle,

• Magnolia,

• Azalea,

• Daffodil,

• Redbud,

• Muscadine,

• Gardenia,

• Dogwood, and

• Blueberry.
