Barnes graduates with bachelor’s degree

The following students have enrolled at USC Upstate for fall semester: Sudesna Baral of Elgin, Sierra Benson of Camden, Markeis Murphy of Camden and Latrell Richardson of Camden.

Brandi L. Eastmon Barnes graduated with a bachelor’s degree in social sciences on August 19, 2013, from Ashford University in Clinton, Iowa. She was honored as a Magna Cum Laude graduate.

Brandi graduated from Camden High School with the class of 1997. She is the daughter of Sue and late Sgt. Felton Eastmon. She is married to Sgt. Clinton Ray Barnes, Jr. Brandi and Clinton have two children (Tristan age five, and Dohnyvan age six).

Brandi served nine years in the U.S. Air Force and earned the rank of Staff Sergeant. She was medically discharged in 2011.

The Barnes family is currently stationed at Barksdale Air Force Base, Bossier City, La. Brandi is the granddaughter of Polly Dinkins of Camden, SC and Gertrude Eastmon Erwin, NC.
