L-E travels to meet Bulldogs on Friday

Lugoff-Elgin makes the short trip over the Wateree River to finish its home and home schedule with rival Camden High tonight at the Dog Pound. The girls’ game tips off the doubleheader at 6 p.m.

North Central will also be at home tonight when Buford comes to The Castle in Boonetown for a 6 p.m. twinbill. The Camden Military Academy basketball team will be on the road this evening to meet McBee in a 7:30 p.m. varsity contest. On Saturday, CMA hosts Porter-Gaud in a 3 p.m. start.

On the wrestling mat, all eyes will be on the Demons Den tonight and Saturday for the 22nd annual Mid-Carolina Credit Union Holiday Classic at Lugoff-Elgin High School. In addition to the hosts Demons, both Camden and North Central will be part of the more than 30-team field.

Wrestling action begins at 4:30 p.m. Friday and again at 8 a.m. Saturday.
