City seeks public input on Maxway property

The city of Camden is soliciting input from the public on proposed future public uses for the former Maxway property at 1001 Broad St. in downtown Camden.

Proposals will consider the future use of the property as a park, parking lot, plaza, or any combination thereof, in addition to any other uses which constitute a public use of the property. Proposals will be evaluated by the Maxway Property Development Committee beginning in February 2014. Proposals are due by Jan. 10, 2014, to the Camden City Clerk’s Office, P.O. Box 7002, Camden, SC 29021.
