West Florence takes pair from L-E

Knights upend Demons: Playing their second game in as many nights, the Lugoff-Elgin boys fell to visiting West Florence on Tuesday, 62-46, in a game played at the Demons Den.
The loss dropped the hosts to 0-8 in their final game before Christmas.
Sophomore guard Aldrecio Wells led the way for Garrett Knight’s troops with 13 points while junior guard Daniel Quattlebaum added 10. Senior forward Jamerius Summerson chipped in with nine points.

Lady Demons bounced by WF: One night after recording their second win of the season, the Lugoff-Elgin girls were upended by visiting and 10th ranked West Florence, 64-17, in a non-conference pairing between 4A foes inside the Demons Den.
The Lady Knights took control of Tuesday’s game by outscoring the host Lady Demons, 18-2, in the first quarter before extending their advantage to 32-11 at the half.
Senior center Shairell Gadson led L-E with six points while freshman Abby Gary was next with four.
