Hoops, wrestling on weekend docket

 Camden hosts its first Region 4-AAA games of the season tonight when River Bluff comes to the Dog Pound for a 6 p.m. doubleheader to be played on the Michael G. Culp Court. It will be the final home game for the Bulldogs until Jan. 10.
In Boonetown, North Central --- which had Tuesday night off --- hosts arch-rival Andrew Jackson in a 6 p.m. non-conference doubleheader at The Castle in Boonetown. Both games may be heard over KOOL 102.7 FM beginning at 5:45 p.m.
The Lugoff-Elgin girls will head to Rock Hill High School today to begin play in the Y.C. Winborn Classic. The tournament will continue on Saturday and will conclude on Monday.
On the wrestling mat this weekend, Lugoff-Elgin will head to Savannah, Ga., for the two-day Seahawk Slam which continues on Saturday. The North Central wrestlers will head to the Upstate to compete in Saturday’s Crescent Duals, which begin at 9 a.m.
