Among the highlights of the evening’s festivities was Joseph Lambert of Statesville, N.C., winning the Mini Max title. Joseph’s grandparents are Paul and Debbie Appleton of Camden. Paul Appleton served as coach and sponsor for his grandson.
In addition to winning the CMP Powerade Karting Championship in the Mini Max division, Joseph represented CMP at the World Karting Championships --- a first for CMP --- in New Orleans last November.
