Carol Meckstroth and Betty Sue Webber will co-host, providing delicious refreshments for members and guests.

The educational program "Lasting Labyrinths" will be presented by Beth Langley. The arrangement theme "aMAZEing" will certainly compliment the program.

Members are reminded to bring horticultural specimens from their gardens. Specimens need to be in place by 3:15 p.m. Arrangements and specimens will be judged by Frances Hendrix, Virginia Isler and Julie Trott.

Garden maintenance at Camden’s public buildings will be done by Cathy Moss and Sandra Lease during the month of January.

January Garden Tips:

1. Make a bottle tree to brighten your winter garden. You can use a dead cedar tree or make a tree of similar shape out of other material. Use any color bottle except cobalt blue. It is the most common color used. You can enjoy this garden art all year long.

2. Flower of the month: carnation.

3. Herb of the month: peppermint.

4. Fruit of the month: cranberries.
