Miss Camden, Miss Camden Teen 2014 queens crowned Saturday

Allison (Allie) Sanders was crowned Miss Camden 2014, and Alexa Williamson was crowned Miss Camden Teen 2014 Saturday evening at Camden High School.

Sanders is 23 years old and is a graduate of Lugoff-Elgin High School. She holds a BA degree in Business Administration from Emmanuel College and is currently working on her MBA in Healthcare Administration from South University.

Sanders’ talent was vocal performance and her platform was Pathway to the Future.

Williamson is 15 years old and is a sophomore at North Central High School. She plans to attend Anderson University to become an obstetrician.

Williamson’s talent was vocal performance and her platform was St. Baldricks’s Foundation.

The pageant winners act as public realtions people for the county and will speak at benefits and charity events throughout the state.

The competition was open to women who live, work, attend school or have immediate family in Camden and/or Kershaw County. Contestants competed in swimsuit, talent, evening gown, onstage question and judges interview.

The pageant winners are eligible to compete in the Miss South Carolina, Miss South Carolina Teen pageants.
