Arnett Muldrow, the Greenville-based firm hired by the city of Camden to work on a tourism plan, marketing assessment and branding plan, will present its final recommendations to the public Monday at 6 p.m. at the historic Robert Mills Courthouse.

The goal of the project has been to better understand Camden’s tourism offerings and market dynamics in order to produce an action strategy and a collection of marketing material to capitalize on the community’s assets. Arnett Muldrow has already come up with the new “Camden: Classically Carolina” slogan and designs for marketing purposes.

The Arnett Muldrow team includes project team leader Tripp Muldrow and Dr. Bob Brookover, director of the Clemson International Institute for Tourism Research and Development. The two worked together on tourism plans in several South Carolina communities, including a comprehensive strategy for Spartanburg County.

Camden Economic Development Director Wade Luther is managing the project locally. For more information about Monday’s presentation or the project, contact Luther at or 425-6631.
