Knights topple Pelion

Getting a 20-point, 17-rebound effort from senior center Kawan Hough, North Central snapped a three-game skid with a 54-42 win over homestanding Pelion last Friday night.
The victory gave Andy Johnson’s troops a 2-4 record in Region 3-AA play. .As for Friday’s win over Pelion, the host Panthers jumped out to a 20-16 lead after the first quarter before the visitors used a 17-6 second quarter run to take control of the game for keeps. The Knights (8-8) were on top, 45-34, after three stanzas and cruised to victory from there.
In addition to Hough’s double-double, the Knights received 14 points from junior William Jenkins, who added six rebounds. Senior forward Banyon Sullivan was next with a 10 points.
