CHS baseball jamboree set for Saturday

CODY MAILLY AND L-E will meet Chesterfield in Saturday’s Camden Baseball Jamboree.

Baseball fans in Kershaw County can get their pre-season fix on Saturday, Feb. 15 as Camden High School hosts its annual baseball jamboree to be held at American Legion Park in Camden.
The five, three-inning mini games will kick off at 9 a.m. with Hartsville facing Laurence Manning Academy. The 10:30 a.m. contest will have Fairfield Central meeting Crestwood while the middle game of the day will have Ridge View and Dreher playing in the noon contest.
Kershaw County fans will get a glimpse of two of their local favorites. At 1:30 p.m., Lugoff-Elgin takes on Chesterfield while the day closes with host Camden squaring off with Richland Northeast at 3 p.m.
Admission is $3.
