The Applied Technology Education Campus (ATEC) will celebrate national Career and Technical Education Month with its spring semester open house from 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesday. Parents of students and the public are invited to attend.

The theme for Career and Technical Education Month is “Celebrate CTE Superheroes!” ATEC instructors, staff and student members of the National Technical Honor Society will be on hand to assist visitors and demonstrate a variety of technology involved in the programs offered.

T-shirts will be given to all parents and guests who visit. Light refreshments will be available in some classrooms.

“This will be a good opportunity for parents of our ATEC students to meet with their child’s instructor and learn more about the program and ATEC in general,” Director Chet Horton said. “We also invite the public and business and industry folks to come out and visit and see the new technology our programs are using.”

ATEC is located at 874 Vocational Lane in Camden, just off U.S. 1 North.
