The United Way of Kershaw County (UWKC) held a luncheon recently to thank volunteers and donors who contributed to its 2014 campaign at the Robert Mills Courthouse in downtown Camden. The luncheon recognized various individuals and organizations throughout the county who gave of their time, efforts and funds to the UWKC. At right, UWKC Campaign Coordinator Pam Spivey, dressed in chef attire and armed with a mixing bowl and spoon, told campaign contributors and volunteers, “You are the main ingredient in our success!” Below, clients from the Kershaw County Council on Aging shared their patriotic spirt, singing and waving American flags.
