Benefit Co-ed volleyball tourney slated for NCHS

North Central High School will host a 3-on-3 co-ed volleyball tournament on Saturday, March 1 to held raise funds for the St. Baldrick’s Foundation, a charitable foundation aimed at conquering various forms of childhood cancers, as well as for the NCHS Shield yearbook.
The one-day event, to be held inside the NCHS gymnasium, will be played in honor of Brandon Jones.
The tournament will begin at 9 a.m. The cost is $30 per team or, $10 per player. There is no age limit for players. Admission to the tournament is $2 per person.
There will be a concession stand in operation throughout the day and there will also be entertainment.
At noon, there will be an alumni rematch contest pitting former North Central football players versus former Lady Knight volleyball players.
