North Central’s opening round game with Camden Military Academy in the annual Mid-Carolina Credit Union Baseball Bash in Boonetown was halted in the third inning by rain with NC holding a 3-2 lead.
The game --- which will still be a five-inning affair --- will be picked up from the point in which it was stopped on Wednesday at 4:30 p.m.
In addition, due to the forecast of rain on Thursday, the tournament’s final night of action has been moved up to Wednesday. The consolation game will begin tonight at 5:30 p.m. followed by the championship contest at 7 p.m.
