Students at Jackson Elementary School are getting ready to walk or run in the Clinic Classic Challenge which benefits the Community Medical Clinic (CMC). The Clinic Classic Challenge will be held April 26.

Jennifer Reeves, Jackson School nurse, is organizing a group of students, teachers and families to walk or run as team members in support of their school. Entrants may run or walk the Camden Family Practice One Mile or the McDonald’s 5K Walk/Run.

This "challenge" was put out to all elementary schools in Kershaw County. The entry with the most runners or walkers will receive $750 thanks to sponsor McDonald’s. The winner of the last two years’ events, Camden Elementary School purchased physical education equipment with their prize money. This year, a clinic supporter has stepped forward to offer $250 for the second place team. For additional information, visit the CMC website, www.CMCofKC.org or call the clinic at 713-0608.
