Mary Katherine Turner, Ryan Patrick Rambo announce engagement

Mr. and Mrs. Dennis James Turner of Camden, South Carolina are pleased to announce the engagement of Miss Mary Katherine Turner of Camden, South Carolina, to Ryan Patrick Rambo of Hollywood, Maryland.

Kate is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Dennis James Turner of Camden, SC. She is the granddaughter of Mr. Keith E. Schafer of Columbia, SC, and the late Mrs. Louise Huger Schafer, of Lexington, Va., and Mr. James R. Turner of Burgaw, NC, and Ms. Marjorie L. Turner of Wilmington, NC.

Kate is a 2009 graduate of Wilson Hall in Sumter, SC, and graduated from the University of South Carolina in 2013 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Philosophy and Religion. She is employed as a paralegal by Callison Tighe Law Firm in Columbia, SC.

Ryan is the son of Ms. Julie F. Fiocchi-Rambo of Hollywood, Maryland, and Mr. Kyle E. Rambo of Hollywood, Maryland. He is the grandson of Mrs. Lynne E. Fiocchi of Millville, Pa., formerly of Vineland, NJ, and the late Mr. August J. Fiocchi of Vineland, NJ, and Mr. and Mrs. Edwin F. Rambo of Royersford, Pa., formerly of Oaks, Pa.

Ryan is a 2008 graduate of Leonardtown High School, Leonardtown, Maryland. He graduated from the University of South Carolina in 2012 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Experimental Psychology and Philosophy.

He is employed by the SC Department of Social Services as a Residential Wilderness Counselor at the John de la Howe School in McCormick, SC.

The couple has planned a spring wedding at Holy Apostles Orthodox Church in West Columbia, South Carolina, with Father Thomas Moore officiating.
