Lewisville used a four-run second inning to break a 1-1 tie and would pull away for a 7-1 win over visiting North Central in a Thursday night non-region baseball game.
After the host Lions scored a run in the first, the Knights evened things in the top of the second when Alex Tarlton cracked a double and later scored on a passed ball. A four-run bottom of the second put Lewisville on top with the hosts tacking on two more runs in the sixth.
The Knights collected three hits on the night with John Bowers and Brockerick Gaither each having a single. The Lions managed just four hits on the night but used seven walks and a trio of NC errors to do their offensive damage.
