It’ll be here before you know it. It’s Spring and the Kershaw County Master Gardeners are having their Spring Plant sale Saturday, May 10 (the day before Mother’s Day). A large collection of everything needed for a garden will be available for purchase. The sale will be held, as always, at the Homemakers Building at Church and DeKalb Streets in Camden. The doors open at 8 a.m. to a wonderland of plants to replace what the winter or spring may have taken away.

Heirloom tomatoes you will not find locally, strawberry plants, many perennials, annuals, vines, shrubs, trees and other surprises are in store for shoppers at this once-a-year event. Knowledgeable people to answer every garden question about new or old plants will also be available.

Some varieties are very limited so be sure to be there when the doors open as they will not last long. Bring mom and tell your gardening friends. You will find great plants at great prices at the Kershaw County Master Gardener Plant Sale.
