Grace Episcopal Church in Camden has set the date for the 78th annual Spring Dog Show. The show will take place in Rectory Square on May 17 with May 24 reserved for the rain date. There are 16 show classes including costume, pure breeds, children’s handling, puppies, mixed breeds and shelter dogs, so all types of dogs, handlers and spectators are encouraged to attend! Hotdogs, chips, sweets and drinks will be on sale throughout the event.

An original watercolor by Robert Ariail (at left) will be raffled off. The watercolor will depict the dog show and raffle tickets are $1 per ticket. Please plan on spending the day in the park with the family and family pets. Registration will begin at 11 a.m. and the show will begin at noon. Proceeds from the event benefit the Walter Crowe Animal Shelter. Where else can you have so much fun, help the animal shelter and visit with friends and family? For additional information, please call the church office at 432-7621.

Raffle tickets are available at the church office, Camden Tire Co. (432-3481) and Springdale Hall.
