CHS girls host Chapman on Wednesday

NC loses to Buford

Top seeded Seneca answered Camden’s run in the top of the first inning with a grand slam and a two-run home run in the home portion of the inning to win Monday’s 3A District 4 winners’ bracket contest, 11-1.
The loss will send the Lady Bulldogs into tonight’s tournament elimination game against visiting Chapman. The game is set for a 6 p.m. start at the Camden High softball field located inside American Legion Park.
Chapman stayed alive in the post-season by knocking off Berea, 3-2 on Monday.
Camden scored eight times in the top of the first inning and held on for a 10-7 victory over Chapman in last Friday’s District 4 tournament opener in Chapman.
Lady Knights fall to Yellow Jackets: Buford ended North Central’s season with a 10-0 win in Monday’s AA District 4 softball tournament elimination game.
NC fell to Buford in Thursday’s first round, 9-1, before staying alive in the postseason with a 17-2 win over Eau Claire.
