The Camden Garden Club will hold its next meeting on Monday at the home of Squeaky Wangensteen.

The program this month will be on the Natural History Collection at the University of South Carolina (USC) libraries. The speaker will be Elizabeth Sudduth who is the Director of Irvin Department of Rare Books and Special Collections at the USC Libraries in Columbia. She will share insight on the USC Collection.

Along with great programs, the Camden Garden Club gives lots of "hands on" workshops which encourage members to do try new things and experiment with different forms, textures and materials.

Every month, members are asked to bring in specimens and arrangements to be judged for year-end awards which will be awarded at this upcoming meeting.

The judges for this month will be Donna Freyer (chairman), Marilyn Kohn and Sandy Shull, and the suggested theme is "The Lusty Month of May." Entries may use only fresh materials from their garden and consider a basket container.

After a brief meeting, the program, judge’s report and year-end awards, members will gather and socialize while enjoying a wonderful spread of delightful goodies provided by hostess chairman Elizabeth Fort, with help from Cathy Clark and Patsy Topping.
