Saturday is the Kershaw County Master Gardeners’ Spring Plant Sale. Opening at 8 a.m. at the Homemakers Building at Church and DeKalb streets in Camden, it will be a great day for your garden.

Heirloom tomato plants that you will find nowhere else locally, Alpine strawberry plants, herbs, perennials, shrubs, trees, vines and a few surprises will all be awaiting you. Our exclusive plant guide tells about the plants and how to grow them and it’s free to take home.

With its help, you will know how to grow your new plants. Recipe sheets for some of the herbs and tomatoes will you new ideas for old favorites.

Many gardens have suffered from the harsh winter and strange spring, so if you need replacement plants or simply want something new or different, this is the place for you.

Don’t forget Mom if she loves plants … at these prices, you can give her more than you thought. Be on time as many varieties are limited and you won’t want to miss these great plants and the even better prices. See you tomorrow!
