Mrs. Ferrol O’Connor Moore Forrester

Miss Ferrol O’Connor Moore of Greenwood, SC, and Mr. Dylan Michael Forrester of Greenwood, SC, and formerly of Camden, SC, were united in marriage on May 10, 2014 at 6 o’clock p.m. at St. Andrew’s Anglican Church in Greenwood, SC.

Connor is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Edward Enright Moore, III of Greenwood, SC. She is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Edward Enright Moore, Jr. of Greenwood, SC, and Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth LaBruce Teague of Columbia, SC.

Connor received a B.S. Degree in Early Childhood Education from College of Charleston, Charleston, SC in 2012 and a M.Ed Degree in Diverse Learners from Lander University, Greenwood, SC in July, 2014. The bride was presented at the 2009 Danse de Noel in Greenwood, SC. She is employed with Greenwood School District 50.

The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Vello McZellon Forrester, Jr. of Camden, SC. He is the grandson of Mrs. Margaret Blakely Rogers of Camden, SC and the late Mr. Sherman Arthur Rogers. The late Mr. and Mrs. Vello McZellon Forrester, Sr.

The groom received an A.S. Degree in Criminal Justice from Trident Technical College in 2012. He is a SGT in the SC Army National Guard, 131st Military Police Company, and is employed by David Lindsey Clothiers in Greenwood, SC.

The double-ring ceremony was officiated by the Reverend George H. Clendenin. The organist was Mrs. Leigh Tumblin, accompanied by Pinner String Quartet of Greenville, SC. Musical selections were by Bach and Beethoven.

Connor was given in marriage by her father, Mr. Edward Enright Moore, III.

Connor's beautiful wedding gown is of a lovely defined re-embroidered lace of a light ivory satin, and an overlay of ivory lace. The gown features a scalloped neckline,and fitted bodice that flows to an A-line Cathedral length train. The gown is accented with a beautiful soft satin sash. Her fingertip veil had an embroidered lace edge. Connor wore a family heirloom necklace which belonged to her great-grandmother. She carried a hand-tied bouquet of peonies.

Matrons of honor were Mrs. Michelle Hopkins Moore of Charleston, SC and Mrs. Katherine Fleniken Nordstrom of Greenwood, SC. They wore blush dupioni silk knee-length dresses and carried hand-tied bouquets of pink roses and pink and white hydrangeas.

Honorary bridesmaids were Miss Bailey Elizabeth Miller and Mrs. Hannah Gray Thompson, both of Greenwood, SC, Miss Emmalyn Grace Baggett and Miss Lauren Rebecca Perkins, both of Charleston, SC, and Mrs. Megan Arnett Nates of Elgin, SC. Honorary bridesmaids wore navy dresses of their choice and carried pink roses.

Best man was Mr. Vello McZellon Forrester, Jr. of Camden, SC, father of the groom. Groomsmen were Mr. Vello McZellon Forrester, III of Camden, SC and Mr. Edward Enright Moore, IV of Charleston, SC.

Ushers were Mr. Jacob Blake Ham, Mr. Brian Spencer Kenyon, and Mr. Matthew Allen Christison all of Charleston, SC, Mr. Johnny Marvin Nates, III of Elgin, SC, Mr. John Stanley Neal, Jr of Columbia, SC and Mr. Patrick Shane Grigsby of Bremerton, Washington.

Program and registry attendants were Miss Isabel Faulling Kinney and Master Elliott Coburn Harris Kinney of Greenwood, SC.

The reception was held at The Sundance Gallery, Greenwood, SC with entertainment provided by "The Professors of Soul." A wedding trip to Punta Cana, Dominican Republic will follow.

Mr. and Mrs. Dylan Michael Forrester will reside in Greenwood.
