I have known Julian Burns for quite awhile. After talking and meeting with Julian I found out very quickly that he is the person we need to run our county council as chairman.

Julian is a native son of Kershaw County.  After graduating from Camden High School, he went on to West Point where he graduated (as) a second lieutenant in the Army. He worked his way up through the ranks before retiring as a two star major general. After his service in the military and an additional 10 years in corporate business, Julian returned home to Kershaw County.

Julian is a dedicated volunteer for his church, many charitable causes and is involved in numerous community organizations. He learned the values of hard work and service from his parents by working in the family hardware business and the military.

Julian and his wife and family have come home to settle in Camden. He will build and grow jobs throughout Kershaw County, manage our tax dollars and county resources wisely, and promote all areas of Kershaw County as a great place to live, work and raise a family.

With his leadership while in the military, Julian Burns is the man we need to run the Kershaw County Council.
