L-E hosts youth football clinic on Saturday

Lugoff-Elgin High School will conduct a non-contact youth football clinic for current third- to sixth-grade students on Saturday, May 24 at the school’s Wellness Center.
The clinic will begin at 8:30 a.m. and will end at noon.
The camp will be held outdoors, but in the event of inclement weather, it will be moved inside to the Wellness Center.
The cost is $20 per camper, which includes a T-shirt. All those who attend the camp will be allowed to run onto the field with the L-E varsity football team when they kick off the 2014 campaign with a home game against rival Camden on Friday, Aug. 22, if they wear their camp T-shirt into Lugoff-Elgin Stadium.
Campers will need to wear shorts, T-shirts, cleats and/or tennis shoes to Saturday’s camp.
