Reader supports Sheriff Matthews

The U.S. Attorney for the Middle District of Georgia is reopening an investigation in the death of black American Kendrick Johnson, a teen who was found dead inside a rolled-up wrestling mat in his high school gym in January 2013.

Federal prosecutor Michael Moore said, “My objective is to discover the truth and I believe it can be done by gathering all evidence and relevant information surrounding Johnson’s death.”

Kershaw County Sheriff Jim Matthews came to mind.

The spirit of truth has truly give all the citizens of Kershaw County an honorable sheriff who truly deserves to be reelected for another term as sheriff of Kershaw County.

Sheriff Matthews is a sheriff who carefully examines or searches in order to discover facts or gain information and discover who commits the crimes here in Kershaw County.

Sheriff Jim Matthews truly helped to make our county a better place for all of us to worship, work and live.
