Clinic Classic 10k run, 5k run/walk set for April 16

The fourth annual Clinic Classic 10k run and 5k walk/run, presented by McDonald’s, will take to the streets of Camden on Saturday, April 16 at 8:30 a.m.

The races will begin and end at the Community Medical Clinic of Kershaw County, located at 110-C East DeKalb Street in Camden. Late registration, as well as packet pick-ups, is set for the morning of the race beginning at 7:30 a.m.

The early entry fee, for those registering by April 1, for the 10k run is $30 per person while there is a $25 early entry fee for the 5k walk/run. After April 1, the fees will increase by $5, respectively. No refunds will be given since the event will be run rain or shine.

The course is certified by the USATF. Awards will be presented to the top male and female runners as well as by age groups. Refreshments will be available for all participants following the race in addition to having water stations set up throughout the course.

All proceeds from the event will benefit the Community Medical Clinic of Kershaw County, which provides healthcare to the uninsured of Kershaw County by bringing together medical, business and individual resources.
