Horses accused of vandalizing swimming pool

Kershaw County Sheriff’s Office (KCSO) deputies responded to Shadow Mist Lane in Elgin on Saturday after a resident said horses had damaged her swimming pool. The KCSO report said the woman first called authorities around 1:40 a.m. and said her neighbor’s horses were in her yard. She called again around 10:30 a.m. and said she and her daughter had gone outside to use the pool and found it was collapsed and the water had run out onto the ground.
